Update!!

So we are now at our host ministry location in a community a little outside of a city called Chichicostanago! Its a beautiful place and I will be uploading pictures later! We have had to exercise the muscle of flexibility things have changed quite a bit from what we had expected but we know God has a plan and I think both teams that are here have handled the changes  very well. We initially had planned to be involved in the schools and kids in the community, and getting to minister in that way, as well as construction. However with the current covid restrictions in the community we are not able to do that, but we are still able to do the construction aspect of the ministry which is okay and is also a great ministry! We are kind of restricted to that area and won’t be able to minister and reach out to people as often as we had wished but in return we do get build a place where jesus can be introduced into kids lifes for generations to come which is awesome to get to be apart of. The hosts name is Juan and He is a pastor and English teacher in his area and He truly has a heart to reach as many people with the true Gospel and serve the spiritual need of his community! Right now he serves children, police, firemen,hospitals and the school in his area by praying, feeding, preaching, or whatever it is his community needs and does very well as the Lord has given Him great favor and influence in His community. He had us working on his outreach center where he will be having an outreach center that serves the children in his community with a place to do their homework with tutors, a place to feed, a soccer field and most importantly a sanctuary. All of these will be free just as long as they agree to hear the gospel and be disciples when they come! How awesome right? The team I’m on and another get the opportunity to be apart of laying a foundation for Juan to plant seeds and water so God can allow the seed to grow and create spiritual wealth for the generations to come and I thank God for allowing me to be apart of it. Thank you to all my donors and well for allowing God to use me so that I could be apart of this awesome ministry for the next month! I will continue to keep you all updated as often as I can!!
