My why

Hello everyone I hope all has been well! I know it has been awhile since the last time we have seen one another, or probably even talked to one another. In the last few years I have gone through an exponential amount of spiritual growth. God has truly turned my life completely around, I have been through a lot of different Trials, Tribulations, Test and anguish but God used every one of those things in order to break me, mold me and shape me for the use of his kingdom. He always turns everything around to work for the good. At the time I didn’t understand, but now I give him thanks often for the dark times in my life. In the darkness, the pain, the hard times is where I found the real Jesus. I found TRUE; Peace, Joy, Love, Mercy, Hope, spiritual power, strength and ultimately Grace. He took me low in order to place me up on a solid rock, which became my foundation to build upon. He had to first destroy my own selfish desires, visions and dreams in order to make room to for the plans he had for my life. With that being said when I fully submitted to God he changed my whole perspective on life. Now I understand that it’s not about how much can I get for myself but rather how much of myself can I give to God for all He has done for me and have given myself, my life and my time all to be used for the glory of god and to be a living sacrifice for his kingdom. He also pruned the deep desire that I’ve always had that I ultimately would shun away constantly to pursue dreams and desires that were more beneficial to me. This desire within was to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ all across the world, and I later learned that it was God himself that implanted that deep desire into my heart and that it was his will for my life! He just had to first condition my heart and my spirit, for the task. Now my heart truly burns with a passion and desire from being in close relationship with God, and experiencing firsthand the saving power of Jesus Christ to spread the message of Hope, Love, Grace, Peace and Joy known as the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the darkest places on earth to the places where people haven’t even had the chance to hear the name Jesus due to resources and the lack of access to the Gospel, all to bring Glory to His holy name. There are so many people around the globe that have lost all hope and feel that there is no such thing as love and that all the world has to offer is pain, hurt, violence and hate, and are in desperate need of a savior who will reveal to them the Peace, love and nourishment for their souls that they long for, but how will they know without someone first telling them about the name Jesus. I truly feel God has called me to go be that light in the darkest of places and to be a mouthpiece that will be used for His glory and His kingdom and to help spread his message of Love to the ends of the earth. With that being said He has opened an unimaginable door and I have been given the opportunity to do exactly what he has called me to do! At the beginning of 2020 I will be leaving for a mission trip that goes to 11 different countries around the world in 11 months through the World Race! The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution because of human trafficking, and bring hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. For me specifically, my mission field will be The Expedition Route, and my group will focus on what they call the 10/40 window which is the parts of the world where the gospel is not known or preached! I actually went on a week-long mission trip to Appalachia, Virginia in July through Adventures in Missions to kind of get my feet wet in the missions field and it is definitely where my heart is at! Through this same organization is how I found about the World Race! So no doubt that it was God orchestrating my life and leading my heart to accomplish his will for my life. The only thing is that I was able to provide the funds for the week long mission trip but the world Race is a whole different beast in its self and there is no possible way that I can make this happen on my own. Which I think is what God wants, because he wants me to have faith and trust that he will provide and it also teaches humility in the process, so with that being said I need to raise support to make it happen for the kingdom of God by the grace of God and to bring Glory to his name!  The greatest support I could ever receive is that of prayer. Would you consider walking alongside me through this next season in prayer that my squad and I would have open minds and be willing to step out of our comfort zone to bring light to some of the darkest parts of the world? It is our desire to be nothing more than the hands and feet of Jesus to every person we encounter. In addition to prayer support, I am needing to raise $20,500 over the next 4 months which will cover the cost of all transportation, food, housing, insurance and other miscellaneous costs.
