So to wrap our time in Costa Rica the logistics team decided to go spend our debrief in a place with no Wi-Fi, hardly any cellular signal, no people, and lots of forest! Debrief happens every 2 to 3 months and it where we meet as an entire squad with our mentor, and squad coaches! its a week dedicated to rest, processing, and teaching/ activation. We also meet as teams with our mentors to make sure everything within the different teams are operating well for the glory of God On the field!
So this debrief was special for all of us coming in this time because we would be raising up new Squad Leaders, jumbling up the teams within the squad, and also we were going to be going to the 10/40 window starting with turkey in June! Right now we are currently in the Dominican Republic within our new teams! We will be here for a month and then we will be heading off to Turkey!
So without further ado i would like to introduce you to my new team! This month i know for sure and maybe the next month as well will be what we call gender months! So all the males within the squad got all put together on a team! I can already see that this month is going to be full of iron sharpening iron, and tearing down the perception of what a group of men living and doing life together is supposed to look like as we model what it looks like to live under the Lord ship of Christ Jesus fully, and unashamedly surrendered to His will to those we encounter! We are a team of 7, Which happens to be the number of completion! We call ourselves Papa Smurf, and we are group of men with passion and love for the most high God and His Kingdom! Welcome to our month of what we call ”manistry” please keep us in your prayer as we have been led by God to come to a city in the Dominican Republic called Sasua which is a place where prostitution, gambling, and drug dealing is a big deal. Pray that God will use us to glorify His name, break chains, bring freedom, and a fresh outpouring of His grace and Mercy upon this city!
