Just in case somebody didn’t know, God goes off. Like completely off, like curry from the 3 point line off… He don’t miss. He’s faithful. All we have to do is pass him the ball for the shot. The ball representing our sin and the the 3- point shot representing Gods grace and mercy. When we take our sin to God, coming boldly before the throne without fear he’s faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. As many times as we will humble ourselves before him he is faithful to show us grace. He never misses. For our sin and our filth he gives us grace and increase. That increase is the Life in place for the death that we have caused in our souls. That life is restorative and strengthening, it allows us to stand back up and keep pressing forward in christ. It’s the life that he gives in exchange for death that renews our strength run and not get weary and walk and never faint. It takes the weight of our sin off of our backs and doesn’t allow it to crush us into despair and hopelessness. He will meet us there everytime to lift your head up, dust you off, and tell you to try again. It keeps the darkness that sin allows into our hearts not to consume us but instead regenerates the life within us to continue eminating Gods light. This is not a pass to sin but encouragement to pass him the ball and watch what he do with it, give Him your sin. This is also a reminder that we are in a game against an opponent, and when we feel that the opponent is beating us and feel as if we are about to give up it may be time to pass the ball to God so He can keep us in the game until we win. The good news is the victory will be ours when ever we pass him the ball no matter how many points we are down. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that he may be able to bear it.” Jesus’s sacrifice is that WAY OUT his atonement for our sins gave us access to the unfathomable riches and wells of Gods grace, Mercy And love. I guess you could consider Jesus the flick of the wrist ??????the flick of the wrist is absoluty necessary for the shot be perfect and on target. let’s not sit there and dribble the ball while time runs out, when God is in the corner wide open waiting to hit the game winner at a 100% shooting percentage! I love you guys! Be encouraged! Thank you for all the prayers as well ?
