So during Holy Week, God really did some cool stuff here on the streets of Jaco! I heard so many cool story’s from my teammates about what God used them to do to glorify Him, i got to see some of my teammates witness and share the Gospel personally, and i also got to personally share and be used by God! It was awesome to watch the Holy Spirit have its way in the moment and use us as vessels to speak Words, prophesy, encourage, heal and to just remind those He put in front of us that there is something More. One of the night, i went out with Justin, Jerome, and Paula. God had minster to a couple of people while me and Jerome interceded, then after they shared and prayed for the people that God introduced to them We came down to Jaco walk which is like a big plaza in town that has a whole bunch of different vendors and restaurants. We get to Jaco walk and there was live music playing and we walked up near the stage just waiting for God to give us direction. As we were standing all of the sudden i got this sudden urge to just walk toward the back toward the Indian restaurant and bathroom, so i took off with the swiftness to see what that would lead too and sure enough once i got back there was a guy sitting all by himself eating in this restaurant. Then God was like “you’re going to talk to this guy” and i was like “oh yeah” so i pass by the restaurant nervously and go into the bathroom an asked God, “what would i say to this guy if i went up there” then He responded “just go sit with Him and join him while He eats. Tell Him you didn’t come to preach but just to simply sit with Him” so i was like okay fair enough. I leave the bathroom and i walk up to his table and ask this random guy if i could sit down and he was like “oh this should be interesting sure have a seat” so i had a seat and we begin having a conversation, His name was Martin and was a CEO of some businesses in Jaco, super sharp guy. He started asking me some questions and i told him i was a missionary and from there we got into a super deep spiritual conversation. He had faith but it was mixed with a lot of the New age/ Buddhism. He believed in Jesus but didn’t believe the word of God. During our conversation He was trying everything He could to make me say one thing contradicting about the word of God but God would equip me with the Knowledge and words to speak through the Holy spirit. Then there came a point begin to tell my His thoughts toward Martin and How deeply He cared for Him and how he sent me to wake Him up and warn Him that He was headed down the wrong road and that he needed to Reestablish himself upon the truth before His lifestyle swallowed Him whole. Which is crazy because it is really hard for me to tell people hard thing but God allowed the Holy Spirit to truly speak to this young man and bring glory to His name. Also showing me that He will always show up and allow His will to be done if we are just willing and obedient. In my next blog i will share about when my friends and i got to share and heal a ladys foot in the name of Jesus! It was an awesome experience!
